Tondo

Artmaking inspired by live music, poetry, and storytelling—a dynamic exchange where performance and visual art intertwine.

Tondo is an ongoing exploration of community, collaboration, and the profound connections that form through shared creative expression.

During each event, I create a series of small, unique paintings in response to the live performances. These works offer a glimpse into the immediacy and energy of the moment—a conversation between brushstrokes, sound, and story. Each piece is part of a series, numbered and signed, capturing the spirit of the evening and preserving it in a tangible, lasting form.

Works in the Tondo series, are smaller, more intimate versions of my larger-scale works. They allow me to explore new materials and techniques while working within the energy and time constraints of the live setting. At the same time, these events pull me out of the solitude of my studio and into the vibrant exchange of community—a vital and enriching part of my practice.

Each Tondo series consists of no more than 10 , numbered and signed original pieces of art.
